Dear friends and family of Blended Fellowship,

What if I told you that, with a little help from you, we could immediately double our efforts to win the deaf to Christ? Well, it’s true, but we have a small window of time in which to act. Please let me explain.

For the past 12 years, I have served as director of our ministry and pastor of our local congregation, while working a full time secular job. That secular employment has provided for my family and made it possible for us to provide significant support to Blended Fellowship. Now, after 18+ years, that employment has unexpectedly been reduced to a few hours per week as of the end of August.

I suppose that not many people would be excited about such a change, but we see this as a tremendous opportunity for Blended Fellowship, and for you! We’re asking you to become a B.I.P., a Blended Investment Partner. As you partner with us, your monthly support will actually be a three fold investment:

1. an investment for you, according to Luke 6:38
2. an investment that will not only help us meet the needs of deaf adults, but also expand our outreach to the youngest and oldest in the deaf community, including a Christian preschool for the deaf
3. an investment in the future of Blended Fellowship as we establish Director/Pastor as a paid staff position, which will anchor the ministry beyond my lifetime.

The need is great. Only 2% of deaf people in America claim to be Christians. But of the deaf ministered to by Blended Fellowship, 39% have accepted Christ! As your missionaries to the deaf, it’s easy to see that we need to broaden our scope, to connect with more of those who still haven’t “heard” the Good News. And, like most other missionaries, we need sponsors.

As you prayerfully consider becoming a B.I.P., please understand that any amount you feel comfortable contributing monthly would be helpful. As I mentioned, we have a window of opportunity, so please respond before as soon as possible.
